If you know what you want to get tattooed, it’s important to include some key information in your inquiry email:
✿ Reference images (No more than 5 please)
✿ Rough size in centimeters
✿ Placement on your body
✿ Budget if applicable
✿ General availability or preferred dates (eg. you work full time so require a weekend appointment)
I usually work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Please note that it is Victorian law that you can only get tattooed if you are 18 years of age or above, and ID is required at your appointment.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, you must give me at least 48hrs notice or your deposit is forfeit and you’ll have to pay another one. Same goes if you don’t turn up for your appointment. As long as you are within the 48hrs, I am totally happy to reschedule you with your deposit intact and it is not a problem at all! If you are running more than 10 mins late to your appointment or can no longer attend please email me ASAP or call the studio on 03 8652 8371 and let me know as a professional courtesy.
All tattoos include free lifetime touch ups if necessary after your initial appointment. If you think you need a touch up, please send me a photo of the area and I will find a time for you.
Pricing
My minimum is $100. If you book me for a full days work I charge $1200 inclusive – this is referred to as my “day rate”. For everything else please ask me and I will quote you a rough price range per piece, which is dependent on complexity/detail/size/placement/time taken etc. and does tend to vary as every tattoo is so unique.
To make a booking a deposit is required – usually between $50 to $200 – and is deductible from the final price of the tattoo on the day. Deposits are non-refundable except at my own discretion.
I am completely happy to give you a rough quote for your idea – just provide the info listed above in an email to me and I can give you a rough price range.
Location & Transport
I work out of my own studio HELLRAISER TATTOO in Collingwood Melbourne. We are upstairs to The Continental cafe – a great spot for sandwiches and coffee.
Our entry is through the Conti, so you can head on in and follow the signs to get upstairs. When the Conti is closed (All day Monday, and after 3pm every other day) you can ring the doorbell on the door frame and someone will come down to let you in.

Hellraiser strives for an INCLUSIVE space. If you want to get tattooed, you are welcome in our shop – that’s it. However unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible. If you would like to request special accommodations please just ask and we will do our best.
If taking public transport you can catch a train to Victoria Park station on either the Hurstbridge or Mernda lines, and the station is approx a 5 min walk to the studio, across Hoddle Street.
If driving, there is free all-day parking on Perry Street, behind/running parallel to Johnston Street, and several 1-2 hour spots in the side streets surrounding. Be aware that some areas of Johnston Street become a clearway after 4pm and you will get towed, so please read signage carefully along Johnston Street before you park.
